The Requests feature in BlueSuite allows you to capture and manage inbound job inquiries from potential customers. Requests can be created manually, submitted through a web form, or sent in from a link you share.
Not every business needs requests. If work comes in by phone and you book it straight away, a separate step for tracking inquiries is just extra clicks. That is why new workspaces start with the Requests module turned off.
Requests is worth turning on if leads reach you before you quote them, so you have somewhere to triage them, respond, and keep track of what you have not answered yet.
Turning it off later hides requests from the sidebar and stops new ones coming in. Nothing is deleted, so anything you have already captured is still there if you turn it back on.
You do not have to find this setting yourself if you build an embed form. Creating one turns the module on for you, since a form on your website needs somewhere to file what it collects.
A Request is a lead or inquiry from a customer who wants your service. It typically includes the customer’s name, contact info, and details about the job they need.
You can embed a custom request form directly onto your existing website. When a customer fills out the form, it automatically creates a request in BlueSuite.
How to Use:
Example Use:
Add a “Get a Quote” or “Request Service” form to your homepage, and any submission will instantly appear as a new request in BlueSuite.
Every workspace with requests turned on gets a public request form. It is a page anyone can use to send you a request, with no account needed, and it works on every plan whether or not you use the Client Portal.
You will find the link and a downloadable QR code under Settings > Marketing > Requests. Share the link in an email signature or put it behind a button on your website. Print the QR code on business cards, vans, or yard signs so customers can scan it and reach the form on their phone.
The form is on by default. You can turn it off on the same settings page if you would rather only take requests another way.
If you’re using the BlueSuite-hosted website, you already have a built-in lead form. No setup needed.
Where to Find It:
If a customer calls or texts, you can create a request manually.
