BlueSuite partners with Stripe to let you accept payments from your customers. Once connected, customers can pay invoices, quote deposits, and service plan subscriptions directly online.
When Stripe payments are enabled, your invoices, quotes with deposits, and service plans will include online payment options. Your customers can pay using any method supported by Stripe, including credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and ACH bank transfers (if enabled in your Stripe account).
For invoices, customers can choose from the following payment options:
Payments are processed by Stripe and deposited automatically into your connected bank account.
BlueSuite does not store any sensitive payment or banking information. All transactions are securely managed through Stripe.
Stripe charges a processing fee of 2.9% + 30 cents per transaction. This fee is automatically deducted by Stripe before the funds are deposited into your bank account.
Below the Stripe connection section, you will find additional payment settings that apply across your workspace.
When tips are enabled, customers will see the option to add a tip when paying an invoice online. They can choose from preset percentages (10%, 15%, or 20%) or enter a custom amount. Tips can also be recorded when you manually log a payment. Tip amounts are displayed in the invoice summary on your dashboard.
This setting is available once Stripe is connected. When enabled, a 3% online processing fee is added to the customer’s payment amount when they pay online. The fee is shown as a separate line on invoices, quotes, and service plans so customers know exactly what they are paying. A cash/check price is also shown so customers can see the total without the processing fee.
You can add custom payment instructions that will appear on all invoices and on quotes that require a deposit. Use this to provide alternative payment details such as mailing addresses for checks, bank transfer information, or any other notes your customers need when making a payment.
Once Stripe is connected, you will see an Open Stripe Dashboard button in your payment settings. This takes you to Stripe where you can view all payments your customers have made, issue refunds, and manage disputes.
